Our history

Cochin Wood Industries has worked timber since 1986. What began as a proprietorship on the Periyar at Perumbavoor was incorporated as Cochin Wood Industries Private Limited in 2021 — the same operation, the same discipline, now under a private-limited roof.

Our operation

From veneer to loaded container.

Forty years doing the same things well — peeled, treated, pressed, graded and loaded, the same way every time.

    Peeling

    Logs peeled and clipped into veneer.

  2. 02

    Treatment

    Dipped against borer and termite, then seasoned.

  3. 03

    Pressing

    Glued and hot-pressed to the bond grade.

  4. 04

    Grading

    Measured, graded and stacked to spec.

  5. 05

    Loading

    Loaded as quoted, container after container.
